I received my PhD in Igor Efimov's lab. My research focused on cardiac functional remodeling and its relation to arrhythmogenesis in a rabbit infarction model and failing human heart. I was involved in building two advanced optical imaging systems and the corresponding data analysis toolbox. Using the tools developed myself, I quantified the remodeling of conduction, repolarization, and excitation-contraction coupling, and explored the mechanisms of arrhythmias responsible for the sudden cardiac death in the heart failure patients. I currently am a PostDoc at Ohio State University.
